A small tree for a small garden

Corymbia ficifolia is the ideal tree for a small native garden.  While we were out and about over a lovely relaxed January, I was reminded of the spectacular colour of Corymbia ficifolia.  Corymbia’s are very closely related to Eucalypts and there are several dwarf cultivars to choose from.  These trees provide spectacular colour over summer from soft pink salmon and apricot to bright summer reds.  ‘Baby Scarlet’ and ‘Baby Orange’ are perfect for a small garden at just 3×3 mt., or for something slightly larger at around 6mt.,  you could choose from ‘Summer Beauty’, ‘Wild Sunset’, or ‘Wildfire’.  It’s a gorgeous small tree for a small garden in Melbourne.
