Low Water Garden
Our client had just completed renovations and needed to link the garden with the house. The layout of the house allows for entry into the garden from three separate living areas.
Townhouse courtyard and garden
This courtyard had been undertaken by previous owners. Our client needed to make use of the existing hard elements and build on these to create a more appealing use of the space.
Low water, low maintenance
A new suburban house on a narrow block. Our client requested an extremely low maintenance and low / no water garden that provided use of their limited north facing outdoor space. The solution was to use exposed aggregate concrete paving with minimalist planting to soften the expanse.
Contemporary light well
This courtyard forms a lightwell in a contemporary inner city townhouse. The brief was to create a ‘Japanese’ feel for the area, working within the existing constraints of a concrete floor with limited drainage.
Contemporary suburban garden
Our client had just completed construction of a substantial new family home. The brief included allowing provision for additional car parking in the front garden, creating a view along the narrow north facing sideway and the challenge of providing both a modern entertainment area alongside a play area for a growing family.
