Small Spaces has been designing gardens since 1997.  The owner, Kath Smalley has studied horticulture at both NMIT and Burnley College. 

Small Spaces offers a full design service.  We can handle your project from an initial consultation right through to project management, and maintenance. 

Our designs are one off’s, developed to cater for each individual client’s requirements and budget.  We have a team of sub contractors we work closely with on a regular basis.  This ensures a good working relationship with contractors.  If you engage Small Spaces to project manage, you can be confident that the contractors we use produce work of the highest standards.  We also work closely with local artists, and have recently commissioned Raw Sculptural Design to work on several of our projects.  Some of their work can be seen in our gallery.

Small Spaces is mindful of our climate and the continuing pressure on our water supply.  With this to consider we aim to provide planting that is sustainable in our climate but still suitable to a variety of garden styles.
